Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Bloom collects, how it is used, and how users can manage or delete their data.
Information We Collect
Bloom collects account details such as your email address, username, selected built-in profile icon, sign-in method, invite and referral relationships, earning activity, session and streak history, and moderation data such as blocks and reports.
When you enable notifications, Bloom may collect your notification permission status, notification preferences, and a push token used to deliver reminders. Bloom also stores some settings locally on your device or browser, such as notification toggles and pending sign-up choices needed to complete onboarding.
How We Use Information
We use this data to authenticate accounts, create and manage your profile, run the Bloom earning and referral systems, power community features such as the leaderboard, prevent abuse, review moderation reports, and deliver notifications you opt into.
What Other Users Can See
Other signed-in Bloom users may see your username and selected built-in profile icon in community features such as the leaderboard. Bloom does not currently let users upload custom profile photos through the app.
Service Providers and Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Bloom uses service providers that help operate the product, including infrastructure for authentication, database storage, and sign-in services such as Google Sign-In and Apple Sign In when those methods are used. We may also disclose information when required by law or when needed for fraud, safety, abuse-prevention, or moderation review.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
Bloom does not currently use a separate third-party analytics SDK or crash-reporting SDK for the mobile app beyond the operational logging and core service processing needed to run the product.
Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account from the Bloom app in Profile > Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated Bloom product data from active systems, subject to limited retention needed for legal, security, abuse-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
For deletion instructions and details about what data is deleted or retained, see the Bloom account deletion page.
Your Choices
You can manage notification preferences in-app, disable device notification permissions through your operating system or browser, block accounts from your own view, report users for review, and request privacy help by contacting support@getbloomnetwork.com.
